Good Stuff Don't Lasts...Is That True?

Is that true?Or is it not?

But perhaps......it does.

Just as soon as we were waving good bye to 2004 and hello to 2005..

I was trying to digest the news that very soon in 2005 I would have been out of job. My deparment -SRMD and 2 others were the first 3 to be closed and compensated. Some staff were saddened and worried about getting a job at their age. Some were happy to have "windfall" given to them and others numb.

It has been 3 years that I worked in Landmarks Bhd.. the team I've worked with in SRMD is truly an awesome team to be with. We were what you would call a Muhibbah team - we have malays, chinese and indians working happily together for good 3 years.

We had great time laughing..crying..scolding each other..fighting (yes i mean kungfu fightin and with a baseball bat too) and many "biology education" that those aunties & uncles have shared with us young farts during our keng gai moments over crackers and our famous SRMD Coffee !

We have climb mount kk together..drank at RP together..eat at numerous buffets...perform at annual dinner and at the karaoke joint...holiday-ed together and most of all worked together (it wasn't all play and no work)

Sigh........I miss those times and I miss them all =(

I do miss my ex boss too...SRM..he's one of the best boss that I have ever worked with. He really looks out for his staff, fights for our rights, generous, understanding, supportive, humble and warm loving guy. And he's downright open on how he feels about us..and always reminding us (until today) how much he loves us and he was super affected when the day came for us to say our goodbyes.....

Sigh......

3 wonderful years of laughter, tears n times when we almost got on each other's nerves...memories are still clear...n heart still sighs to think of what we could have been doing now..

But s*** happens...

I wonder now...did we have it too good during the last 3 years?Hmm...

Perhaps it is true....good things don't last.
